EVENT: Join a slimming club. 

EXERCISE: Just walking the dogs.

FOOD: Decide to reduce, bread, dairy, fatty foods, processed sugar, and meat. Instead focus on soups, salads, home made meals, vegetables and fresh fruit.

NOVEMBER 2022

EVENT: 4 Months Later.

EXERCISE: Still just walking the dogs.

FOOD: Have managed to focus on soups, salads, home made meals, vegetables and fresh fruit and largely avoid sweets, chocolate, fatty foods or foods with added sugar or excess salt.

COMMENT: Then get very busy with work for two months, less exercise, more fast foods or take aways between December and January.

FEBRUARY 2024

17st 11lbs

EVENT: 14 Months Later.

EXERCISE: Set a target of swimming 21 miles (1 mile a week) and cycling 500 miles (25 a week) on excercise bike over next 4.5 months and still walking the dogs, and occasional treadmill weekly.

FOOD: The focus on healthy eating has slipped. So now start recording calories and excercise in Nutracheck app and Samsung Health app.

Re-focus on soups, salads, home made meals, vegetables and fresh fruit and largely avoid sweets, chocolate, fatty foods or foods with added sugar or excess salt.

COMMENT: Family event coming in June 2024 so motivation to be able to fit into a suit focuses the mind!

JUNE 2024

EVENT: 4.5 Months Later.

EXERCISE: Acheived the 21 miles of swimming 21 miles (Width of English Channel) and cycled the 500 miles (25 a week) on the excercise bike over the last 4.5 months and still walking the dogs, and occasional treadmill weekly.

FOOD: Maintained focus on healthy eating and recording my food intake in Nutracheck and excerise in Samsugn Health apps.

The  focus on soups, salads, home made meals, vegetables and fresh fruit and largely avoiding sweets, cakes, chocolate, fatty foods or foods with added sugar or excess salt.

COMMENT: Was very pleased I fitted in a suit well for the family event in June 2024 which was very rewarding!

FEBRUARY 2025

16st 11lbs

EVENT: 8 Months Later.

EXERCISE: Joined FightKlub for boxing exercise in November 2024 which I attend 2 to 3 times a week each session is 45 minutes. Walk the dogs. Plus have removed my office chair and standing at my rise and fall desk for the whole of 2025 to raise money for charity.

FOOD: The focus on healthy eating and recording my food intake is slipping though.

COMMENT: A busy seasonal period for work between November and January has again lead to a rise on weight.
