Grown Your Own Fruit And Vegetables
If you are lucky enough to have the space in your garden to grow some of your own fruit and vegetables it can be a very rewarding experience.
Deciding what to grow will depend on where you live, the climate in your location, the time you have available, and your budget.
My name is John and I’m Mr Soup and Salad and I live not far from London in the South of England.
I haven’t been a keen gardener for very long but decided to start growing some of my fruit and vegetables in 2023. I started with Tomatoes, Potatoes, Peas, Runner Beans and some Lettuces and Bok Choy.
I will be bring you some of my experiences, hints, tips and ideas for growing your own in this section of my website.
I have certainly learnt to appreciate nature and the time and resources it takes for plants to grow. That has been a very insightful, rewarding, and a really facinating process.
Growing your own is well worth the time and effort, not just for the fresh ingredients to eat, but also for mental wellbeing and general wellbeing.
